Hi! I’m Suzette,
A Jamaican Communications Professional. Passionate about storytelling.
I am an ‘80s baby’, a proud Jamaican who loves to see and experience the world in various ways.
I fell in love with the pen during my first year in high school, and I have discovered that it is a powerful tool which I like to use for good – inspire, entertain, be a voice for the voiceless, highlight social issues, will society to see through different lens, share things I have observed/learned or enjoyed in books, movies, TV shows, and places, tell stories about people and brands that impact the world, and so much more.
This space was created to do just that!
In my time away from here, I am busy being a communications professional spanning marketing, advertising, public relations, digital marketing, etc., – a career I have mastered in just over two decades as a graduate of the University of the West Indies with a Bachelor Arts in Media & Communication (Hons) and a Master of Arts in English Language (Distinction). However, you will find that I am an advocate for Jamaican Patois (Patwa), a language I am passionate about.

A former news reporter, occasionally, I pen opinion pieces which are published by newspapers - linktr.ee/iamsuzettecampbell.
And lastly, there is a young human that calls me Mommy, and I call him, Malik.

Some call me 'Sue'.
I Am Suzette Campbell.
